Spend two hours learning to surf at Essaouira with OLASURF. Instructors such as Ismail, Tahir, and Nasser teach adults and children through a beach warm-up, safety briefing, board practice, and guided time in the waves. Boards, wetsuits, lockers, and a hot shower are included, with small-group and private lessons available.

You’ll travel from Agadir to Taghazout, collect a wetsuit and board, then learn with instructors such as Youssef, Hussein, Sami, or Omar. The day includes beach theory, warm-up, coached water practice, and, on the longer option, lunch and a second surf session. Groups are limited to eight.

Meet Explora Watersports on Essaouira Beach for a two-hour kitesurfing lesson led by qualified instructors. Beginners learn kite control on the sand, while returning kiters work on skills suited to their level. Two people share one kite in a group lesson, and the session ends back at the beach centre.

Our instructors were great and we felt very well educated. We did not get in the water, stayed in the sand getting a grasp on the kite. Meet Explora Watersports on Essaouira’s Boulevard Mohamed V for a two-hour beginner lesson with a professional instructor. You’ll use a loaner wetsuit and surfboard while learning balance, the pop-up, wave choice, and stance. Small groups, sometimes as few as four, allow close help from instructors such as Abdul and Anis.

Spend about two hours learning kitesurfing with Essaouira Watersports at 11 Av. Princesse Lalla Amina. You’ll cover wind theory, safety, kite setup, control, launching, landing, body dragging, water relaunches, and a first board attempt. Instructors including Mehdi, Wassim, and Othman are praised for patient, clear teaching in English, French, and Arabic.

Meet Othman Boussarhane and his team at Agadir Beach, in front of Les Dunes Dor Hotel, for a two-hour beginner lesson. You will learn safety, board position, pop-up technique, and foot placement on the sand before practising in shallow whitewater with an instructor nearby. Boards and wetsuits are included. Optional action photos cost extra.

Travel from Agadir toward Tamri with guides such as Mustafa, Abdullah, Musapha, Hassan, or Samir, stopping for coastal views before sandboarding the Taboga dunes. You’ll learn at your own pace, climb warm sandy hills, visit a canyon, and enjoy water, bananas, photos, and a close look at Berber life.

Meet at Bab Marrakech near Hôtel l'Heure Bleue, or arrange pickup nearby, then head to a sandy beach suited to first-time surfers. Instructors including Adam, Momo, Simo, and Simone teach the basics on land before joining you in the water. Boards, wetsuits, transport, drinks, and a small group of up to six are included.

You’ll be picked up at your Agadir or Taghazout hotel, meet an Arabic, French, English, or German-speaking instructor, and ride a 110-horsepower Sea-Doo for 30 minutes. Expect a safety briefing, guided time across Agadir Bay, wave riding, and a quick swim stop. One jet ski carries one or two people.

Spend 150 minutes learning to surf near Taghazout with local instructors such as Mohammed, Abdellah, or Jamal. You’ll get equipment, safety guidance, transport to suitable surf spots, and coaching for beginner or intermediate ability. Agadir pickup costs an extra €22, while Taghazout and nearby transport is included.

Ride a jet ski for 30 minutes off Agadir Beach with an English or French-speaking instructor nearby.
